The bride wears her engagement ring and wedding ring on the third finger of her left hand. The reason for this is that it

Wedding Toast To The Bride and Groom:
A toast is a way of stating congratulations and best wishes to the bride and groom. This act is done by raising a champagne filled gobblet by the best man.
