Visit nursing homes and inmates in various jails and the prisons. Last summer I traveled to San Antonio to visit some inmates in Kenedy. I plan on going again sometime in July.

I'm a big time animal lover and pick up stray dogs. I've got 7 and can't afford to pick up anymore. This breaks my heart! My house is on an acre of land and I'm very lucky to have irrigation rights. I have about 40 trees, pine trees, fruit trees and shrubs. My HUGE outdoor dogs love it and so do my 3 toy poodles. I have a black cat who RULES them all!
One of my toy poodles has developed diabetic and even though I give her insulin shots daily, my vet bills are astronomical. Because I own so many pets, I had to eventually buy insurance.

I HATE: Crowds, the nightclub scene, math, gossip, hypocrites, cowards, violence, liers, stuck-ups, foul language, drug pushers, animal, child and spousal abusers.

Things I enjoy:
Inviting friends over for stimulating conversations while drinking Margaritas and eating my finger lickin good ORIGINAL BBQ ribs and chili con queso. Here in Texas I'm called the Queen of Hot Hot Hot because of these 2 recipes. Chili Escabeche is a favorite among my friends. I pickle in a huge jar, chili jalapenos, carrots, mushrooms, celery and pearl onions and set aside for a month, until ready to eat. I self-taught myself to bake yeast bread and through much experimentation, I can delicious cinnamon rolls, yeast and beer dinner rolls and have learned to make pizza dough and sauce from scratch. Yes, I really love to to cook!

I also enjoy solitude, meditation, cuddling up with my son and our 3 toy poodles, crossword puzzles, daily walks, swimming, flea markets and garage sales, animals, poetry, murder mysteries, war movies, Bollywood, classical, contemporary rock, country and salsa
