The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hand I used to hold
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

Autumn Season Poems
Midas Touch of Gold
The vibrant days of Autumn
Are visible once more.
Leaves splashed red and golden
Take over the decore.
Birds start winging southward
Through the hazy sky,
The days are getting shorter,
A harvest moon rides high.
Gone are fragment flowers
From many garden beds,
Pert and showy asters
Now show their pretty heads.
Alluring and with splendor,
Fair Autumn reigns awhile,
Until in Winter's chariot,
Jack Frost arrives in style.
